An Evening of Music, Food Trucks & Tiny Homes
Village Farm hosted their Inaugural Holiday Street Party on December 9th, 2018 on the grounds of our up and coming tiny home community in East Austin. The event was the first of its kind, but residents and community managers hope for many more to come. More than 50 attendees of all ages enjoyed a beautiful evening of conviviality, food, and live music.
Food Trucks & live music: An Austin Specialty
Early in the evening a variety of local food trucks parked in the neighborhood, setting the perfect vibe for the event. Hey Cupcake! and Pitalicious, offered a variety of delicious food as Austinite singer- songwriter, Pierson Saxon, preforme his soulful, new age country in the background.
A Neighborhood Comes Together
“The purpose of this event is to bring everyone together, to get to know our residents and thank them for joining our community” Becky Avila, Inside Sales Representative, mentioned.
Attendees gathered around the outdoor fire pits and hammocks, while others played Bocce Ball. It was the perfect opportunity to bring the neighborhood together and get excited for the future of Village Farm.
